Managerial and Professional Profiler (MAPP) |
MAPP is a personality assessment tool which can be used to help you understand your leadership style, team membership, decision making ability and your problem solving ability, as well as what motivates you. MAPP uses 19 personality dimensions and 14 motivational and values dimensions, helping to pinpoint details of an individual's personality which are particularly relevant in a professional capacity. MAPP measures your interactions with people, your approach to tasks, your feelings and temperament, as well as your work related values.
The MAPP tool can be useful for predictions of job performance and promotions, and has in the past also provided insight into staff turnover and absenteeism.
MAPP is a self-report questionnaire; it uses what people actually say about themselves. These types of questionnaires have no right or wrong answers; they simply look at different people's behavioural styles and preference. There are no good or bad profiles, although some profiles fit better with different occupational roles.
